JUDGMENT 1. - The Medical Council of India, by their affidavit dated 29.4.2003, has Stated that the RNT Medical College, Udaipur has been permitted to start A.D. (Dermatology, Venerology & Leprosy) course WS. 10-A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with one admission per year since November 1999. It appears that the RNT Medical College is under a 5 wrong impression that the College has not been permitted to start the course in question since the Medical Council had not accorded permission to them. 2. Since the Medical Council has accorded the requisite permission to tie RNT Medical College to start the course in question with one admission to year and the appellant was the only candidate who had been accorded permission by the State Government to undertake the training in the RNT Medical College, Udaipur, the Principal of the College must consider the question whether or not to permit the appellant for training in the M.D. (Dermatology, Venerology & Leprosy) course subject to the rules which 15 prevailed in the year 2000. A decision as to whether or not the appellant is to he permitted for the training course shall be taken by the Principal, RNT Medical College within a period of three weeks. In case, the Principal rejects the candidature of the appellant he shall assign reasons therefor and communicate the same to the appellant on or before the expiry of three 20 weeks. 3. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the appeal is disposed of.Appeal Disposed of As Above. *******
