Judgment :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2. This writ petition is filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to release the petitioner's vehicle No:KA-05-B-6900 which was seized by the first respondent and now in the custody of the third respondent forthwith. 3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and keeping in view the orders passed in similar cases, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the vehicle bearing registration No: KA-05-B-6900 with goods seized by the first respondent to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner giving an undertaking to produce the vehicle as and when necessary and not to alienate or encumber in any manner till the proceedings are completed. The petitioner is also required to furnish the xerox copies of the permit and certificate of registration. No costs. W.M.P. No: 8 of 2004 is closed.
