JUDGMENT : 1. Pursuant to our order dated 20.7.2004 the High Court of Gujarat has filed status report. Learned Solicitor General appearing for the CBI submits that apart from the cases referred to in the status report there are two other cases involving similar modus operandi in obtaining magisterial warrants in regard to which information was sought from the Registrar General of the High Court, he also submits that he has received reply from the Registrar General which was supplied to him yesterday only. We request the Solicitor General to give a copy of the same to the learned counsel appearing for the High Court of Gujarat. The High Court of Gujarat will file its response before the next date of hearing. We direct the Station House Officer in-charge of Meghaninagar Police Station to file a status report in regard to the Offence Registration No. I 52/2004 within a week from today. 2. Taking into consideration the magnitude of this case we think it appropriate that the Bar Council of India should also be heard in this matter, therefore, we issue notice to the Bar Council of India. 3. Call this matter on 9th September, 2004.
