ORDER 1. Along with the affidavit of Professor Sanjay Shrivastava, Assistant Director (ME), Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India filed in court today, statement (Annexure D) has been filed. The said statement shows total number of seats available in participating medical e colleges and number of seats vacant in 15% all-India medical quota on 21-8-2004, as per the information received from participating medical colleges updated as on 30-8-2004 i.e. yesterday at 11.00 a.m. According to the affidavit of Professor Shrivastava, 93 medical colleges participate and contribute to 15% all-India medical quota kitty. The information received has, however, been only from 78 colleges. The remaining 15 colleges have not supplied the information. Likewise 25 dental colleges contributing 15% of medical all-India seats quota but the information has been received from only 20 colleges. Remaining 5 colleges have not supplied the requisite information. The names of the medical and dental colleges were supplied and who have not supplied the information are given in the statement marked as Annexure D. The colleges were required to inform the Directorate General 9 of Health Services in terms of order already passed. No further delay can be brooked. We direct the States of Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal to supply the requisite information to DGHS by 9.00 p.m. today. Likewise the States of Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal would supply the requisite information in respect of dental colleges. The information is required in respect of the following medical colleges and dental colleges: Medical colleges 1. JLNMC, Bhagalpur 2. Patna MC, Patna 3. G. Medical College, Bhawnagar 4.
