Judgment 1. Heard and perused the record. 2. The delay in filing the appeal is condoned. 3. The matter relates to payment of ensured amount to the farmers under the Comprehensive Crop Insurance Scheme of the Government of India for the period of 2001-02. 4. After having perused the judgment of the learned single judge and hearing the counsel for the appellant, we find that the learned single judge has rightly held that the writ petitioners are required to be paid the benefits as provided under the scheme and same shall not be withheld on the ground that required number of crop cutting reports were not submitted by the State Government to the Company. 5. We do not find any reason to take a different view in the matter. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.
