JUDGMENT 1. - By way of these four Miscellaneous Petitions filed under section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner-Sukhdev Singh, Ex- Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat, Pakka Sarna, seeks to quash FIR Nos. 336/2000,339/2000,337/2000 and 338/2000 respectively, Police Station Anti Corruption Bureau, Jaipur for the offence under section 13(1)(C)(D)(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 r/w Section 120-B Indian Penal Code. 2. I have perused all the impugned FIRs. In all the FIRs, the substance of the allegation against the petitioner is that certain plots of the Panchayat were sold for throw away prices and thereby conferred pecuniary advantage to such purchasers which resulted in wrongful loss to the Panchayat and wrongful gain to the accused-petitioner constituting an offence of criminal misconduct under section 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act. 3. It is not necessary to give facts of each of the cases, as it has been brought to my notice that investigation in all the four cases is complete and a decision is to be taken by the appropriate authority for filing the charge-sheet. In view of this, it is not desirable to express any opinion, if any offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act is constituted on the basis of material on record. I am not inclined to invoke the inherent powers of this Court in a case where there :re serious allegations of corruption. It will be open for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy at an appropriate stage. 4. Accordingly, all the four Miscellaneous Petitions stand dismissed.Petitions dismissed. *******
