( 1 ) HEARD the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. ( 2 ) WITH the consent of parties counsel, we proceed to dispose of the writ petition finally at the admission stage. ( 3 ) THE petitioner appears to have applied for grant of recognition for establishing a Medical College to impart four years diploma courses in ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine. This application has been moved sometime in February, 1999. The grievance is that till date neither the inspection has been done as per Rules nor application has been considered. ( 4 ) WE, therefore, dispose of the writ petition finally at this stage with a direction to the concerned respondent to proceed with the disposal of the application of the petitioner and to make the necessary inspection as early as possible. This order, however, does not mean that the recognition is necessarily to be granted to the petitioner but the matter has to be considered in the light of the Rules and if the petitioner is found eligible and fulfills all the conditions, as are required, the necessary permission may be granted. ( 5 ) IN case any formalities are to be completed, the same shall be completed by the petitioner, on being disclosed by the respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of finally. .
