ORDER : 1. F.D.Rs. to be renewed further for six months. I.A. No. 179 2. Delhi Government is directed to respond to the recommendations contained in the Report of EPCA of August, 2004 at page 8 in paragraph 4, within four weeks. 3. List the I.As. thereafter. I.A. Nos. 203, 217 & 226 4. The two Reports of July, 2004; one regarding Designing a Parking Policy to Manage Travel Demand in the City and the other on Public Transport Projects in Delhi of EPCA have been perused by us. Copies of those Reports can be obtained by the counsel from the Registry. The Delhi Government is directed to respond to the recommendations made in those two Reports within four weeks. In the meanwhile, the Delhi Government may move EPCA for additional demand of TSR as interim measure. EPCA shall send its report to this Court. 5. List the I.As. after four weeks. I.A. Nos. 182 and 183 6. We have perused the August, 2004 Report of EPCA regarding building a bypass and expressway for transit traffic for Delhi as also affidavit of Col. Punit Sethi, General Manager (Technical) in National Highways Authority of India dated 15th July, 2004 and that of T.B. Banerjee, Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways dated 18th August, 2004. We are of the view that the problems regarding land and finance etc. for building of bypass and expressway for transit traffic for Delhi can be sorted out in a joint meeting to be attended by the Chief Secretaries of U.P., Haryana and Delhi and officers of National Highways Authority of India and Ministry of Road Transport & Highways with the assistance of learned Solicitor General. We have requested learned Solicitor General to call a meeting of all these officers and thresh out the problems and come out with a proposal which can result in the project designing and commencement without any further delay. Copies of the aforesaid Report can be obtained by the concerned parties from the Registry. 7. List these I.As along with I.A.Nos. 188, 189, 197, 213 and 238 after four weeks. I.A. No. 225 8.
