JUDGMENT 1. - Petitioners have prayed for quashing FIR No. 17/1997, registered with Police Station-Keshorai Patan for alleged offence under Section 116, 120, 120-B, 346, 365, 417, 506, 511 IPC. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that no charge sheet so far has been filed till date. 2. After having carefully gone through the material on record, looking to the nature of allegations made, with the lapse of time, I find no ground or even justification for pursuing the matter any further. 3. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The FIR No. 17/1997 registered with police station Keshorai Patan, referred above, in the present matter is quashed and all proceedings, if any taken thereunder, are also ordered to be dropped.Petition Allowed - FIR Quashed. *******
