JUDGMENT : Mr. R.C. Lahoti, CJI. Mr. Ashwini Kumar, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for Municipal Corporation of Delhi states that a high-level policy decision has been taken and a detailed policy by reference to Delhi, consistent with the national policy on hawkers, has been worked out and approved which he would be placing on record on affidavit within a period of two weeks. Let it be done. Contempt Petition (Civil) No. 506 of 2002 2. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties as also the intervenors in detail. Mr. Ranjit Kumar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner has invited our attention to several orders passed earlier by this Court, in particular the orders dated 6-11-2000, Ramesh Kumar v. M.C.D., (2009) 17 SCC 593 , 1-12-2000, Rajendra Kumar v. M.C.D., (2002) 10 SCC 595 and 9-8-2002, Patri Vyapar Mandal v. S. P. Agarwal, (2009) 17 SCC 681 . The learned Senior Counsel appearing for M.C.D. assures that strict compliance with the orders passed by this Court shall be ensured. In view of that statement, for the present we propose to say nothing more. 3. List all these matters after four weeks.
