JUDGMENT 1. - Petitioner has challenged the order dated 19.10.2000 by which the application filed by the petitioner under Section 245(2) Cr.PC. has been rejected by the trial court with a further prayer for quashing the entire proceedings pending against the petitioner in the present case. 2. After hearing counsel for the parties, I have carefully gone through the material on record. 3. Since after due consideration proper discretion has been used by the trial court in passing the impugned order and further there being so many disputed questions of fact and law which may require evidence, I find no ground for any interference of this Court in the present matter at this stage. The petition is dismissed accordingly as having no merits. 4. It is rather unfortunate that there been no stay on the proceedings of the trial court and the matter is still pending for last more than five years. The trial court is now directed to expedite the trial. A copy of this order may also be sent to the trial court. *******
