JUDGMENT : We take notice of the news in the media in regard to the incident which took place in Beur Jail which shows unauthorised entry of certain persons into the said Jail. We call upon the Inspector General (Prisons) to send a report in regard to the said incident. We also direct the CBI for an independent investigation into the said incident and report to this Court. The reports shall be filed in this Court before 13th of December, 2004 with a copy to the respondents and this matter shall be listed for further orders on 14th of December, 2004 along with other applications. Order accordingly.
