ORDER : R.C. Lahoti, CJI., G.P. Mathur and P.P. Naolekar, JJ. : All the learned counsel for the parties excepting the plaintiff-State of Assam in both the suits pray for time. The prayer is opposed by the learned senior counsel for the plaintiff above-said on the ground that the proposal which is being mooted by Union of India is not acceptable to State of Assam. 2. We adjourn the hearing by six weeks. In case, the parties do not arrive at mutually agreeable terms, the learned Attorney General and other parties shall comply with the order dated 13th September, 2004, State of Assam v.
