JUDGMENT : W.P.(C) Nos. 602/98, 503/98, 675/97 and 280/2000: 1. These matters stand covered by the decision of this Court in the case of Ashok Leyland Ltd. v. State of Tamil Nadu and Another, reported in 2004 (1) SCALE 224 . The petitions are, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the aforesaid decision. The petitioners may approach the appropriate forum within the period of six weeks'. In case such petitions are filed, the same may be entertained and decided on merits. If the petitioners pray for grant of interim order, it may be considered in accordance with law. W.P.(C) No. 155 of 1998: 2. This petition under Article 32 is directed against the issue of show cause. We find that this petition is pre-mature. The petitioner may show cause before the concerned assessing authority. In case any adverse order is passed, it will be open to the petitioner to take such action as is permissible in law. The petitioner may file objections, if any, within six weeks from date. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
