Judgment :- The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to regularise the services of the petitioner as Class III from the date of his initial appointment with all consequential benefits including equal pay for equal work. The prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted as the respondent had stated that the petitioner is only a casual labourer engaged for six months, which term already expired and pursuant to the interim order of this Court, he continues in service. 2. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has made representations dated 28.12.2002 and 18.4.2003 to the 2nd respondent seeking for the very identical relief which are not disposed of . 3. Without going into the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representations of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law. The Court has already granted interim injunction restraining the respondents from terminating the service of the petitioner. I feel that it is just and proper to extend the said order till the disposal of the said representation. Hence, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 28.12.2002 and 18.4.2003 within a period of two weeks from today, in the mean time not to terminate the petitioner. 4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, W.P.M.P.No.46663 of 2003 and W.V.M.P.No.224 of 2004 are closed.
