( 1 ) IN this petition by the State of Maharashtra, a prayer has been made for exemption from conducting the Common Entrance Test and liberty to regulate the admissions on the basis of qualifying examinations and to permit admissions on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying hsc without conducting Common Entrance Test. ( 2 ) THIS prayer might involve modification of para 16 of the decision in the case of Islamic Academy education. ( 3 ) LET this matter be placed along with the other matters before the honble the Chief Justice of India for reference to a larger Bench. ( 4 ) COURT Masters.
