Judgment :- Markandey Katju, CJ. Petitioner has some grievance regarding the releasing of water connection to the consumers by the respondent Municipality. In our opinion, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of making a complaint before the District Consumer Forum under Sec.11 of the Consumer Protection Act. Petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy. If the complaint is made before the authority concerned, the same shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law after hearing the parties concerned. Connected WPMP No.13280 of 2005 is closed.
