ORDER : 1. Mr. S. Muralidhar, learned counsel, has brought to our notice that in terms of order passed on 15th April, 2005 by this Court, he had, on 26th April, 2005, written letters to the learned counsel for Respondent Nos.1 to 3 and learned counsel for Respondent No.6,namely,Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Though a reply has been received from the counsel for the Union of India on some aspects, for remaining it is stated that the facts are being verified. In so far as the Delhi Government is concerned, no reply has been received. According to Mr. Muralidhar, the counsel for the Delhi Government has not even responded to the said letter. It is unfortunate that despite lapse of three and a half months, the normal courtesy was not shown to reply to the letter of the petitioner in a petition where grievance is made as to the difficulties of the senior citizens and measures required to be taken. Mr. A. Sharan, learned Additional Solicitor appearing for the Delhi Government, says that he will look into it immediately and see that necessary information is given to Mr. Muralidhar. Likewise, Mr. B. Datta, learned Additional Solicit or General appearing for the Union of India states that he will also look into the matter regarding supply of remaining information. 2. The respondents are directed to file affidavits indicating therein as to the measures taken and the facilities available for the senior citizens, having regard to what is contained in the National Policy for Older Persons, within four weeks.
