ORDER : R.C. Lahoti, CJI. Mr. M.C. Mehta, petitioner appearing in person, intives attention of the Court to the statement made in par 5 of the affidavit of Shri K.M. Sahni, Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment(page 686 of the paper book) wherein it is stated that "the process of coding is underway" and some time was required for furnishing specific data pertaining to children engaged in hazardous occupations. Mr. N.N.Goswami, learned senior counsel appearing for the Union of India states that the process for collection of data is on and a reasonable time is required for the purpose of collecting, compiling and furnishing the same to this Court. Eight weeks' time as prayed for is allowed to the Union of India for the purpose. 2. Let a copy of this order be also communicated to the Registrar General (Census and Operations), Govt. of India,2A, Man Singh Road, New Delhi. 3. List after eights weeks. I.A. Nos. 18 and 19 and I.A.No. 21(Filed by The Tamil Nadu Fire works and Amorces Manufacturers' Association) 4. Responses have been filed by the State of Tamil Nadu to I.A. Nos. 18 and 19. I.A. No. 21 has been filed in the light of those responses. Let the State of Tamil Nadu file its response to I.A.No. 21 within six weeks. 5. List I.A. Nos. 18, 19 and 21 along with the main petition.
