ORDER : Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of India submits that the Government of India is now agreeable to take a holistic view of the matter. It is submitted that the National Commission for Women has also submitted an appropriate scheme, which has to be considered by the concerned departments of the Central Government, Gaurav Banerjee, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) submits that a scheme has also been submitted by NALSA. A copy of the said scheme may be, if not already handed over, supplied to the learned Solicitor General for India. Let the matter be posted on 30th January, 2006 for passing appropriate directions in relation to such questions which, according to Colin Gonsalves, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, do not have any monitory involvement of the Central Government.
