ORDER 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By the impugned order, the High Court, while refusing the prayer made on behalf of the appellant directing the police to register a, first information report, observed that the appellant, if so advised, may file a criminal complaint before a competent court. In our view, if a criminal complaint is filed before the competent court by the appellant for prosecution of the accused persons, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by any observation made either in the impugned order or in the report submitted by the District Judge, Gurdaspur. 3. With the aforesaid observation, the appeal is disposed of.
