Judgment 1. Heard counsel for the parties. 2. The grievance of the writ petitioners is that though they had requisite height and qualified in the physical test, they have not been selected for appointment on the posts of constable pursuant to advertisement no, 1 of 1998. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that some of the persons below height have been appointed, whereas the petitioners have been denied, though they have the requisite height. It is also submitted that so far the discrepancy in height is concerned, the petitioners have already filed representations before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur, but the same have not yet been disposed of. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent no. 4, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur, is directed to dispose of the representations filed by the petitioners, if not already disposed of, by a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4. With the direction/observation aforesaid, this application is disposed of.
