JUDGMENT Hemant Gupta, J. - The petitioner has sought transfer of petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act pending in the Court of Civil Judge, Sunam to any competent Court of jurisdiction at Chandigarh. 2. It is pointed out that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of maintenance which is pending in the Court of Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chandigarh. 3. Keeping in view, the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate if the petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act titled as Anil Kumar v. Beant Kaur @ Preet is transferred to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Chandigarh. Consequently, above said case is transferred to the District Judge, Chandigarh. 4. The parties through their counsel are directed to appear before the District Judge, Chandigarh on 28.3.2005 for further proceedings in accordance with law. The learned District Judge, Chandigarh may entrust the same to the Court of competent jurisdiction. Petition allowed.
