This is an application filed by Nongmaithem Bankim Singh praying for pre-arrest bail in connection with FIR Case No. 31(5)/05 BPR P.S. u/s468/471/420/406/408/109/120-B & 34 IPC. I have Mr. Jayenta,learned Sr. counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant and Mr. Th. Ibohal, learned Addl. P.P. appearing on behalf of the respondents. I have also perused the Case diary. Having regards to all the relevant considerations including the stage of investigation, the nature of alleged offences and materials so far gathered during the investigation, I am not inclined to pass any pre-arrest bail in favour of the applicant accused. Accordingly, this application is hereby rejected. This order is not to stand on the way of the applicant seeking for regular bail before the competent Court of law as and when he is entitled to seek for regular bail in accordance with law.
