ORDER : R.C. Lahoti, CJI., D.M. Dharmadhikari, JJ. The learned Attorney General states that an official from the Office of the Surveyor General of India is present in the Court accompanied by a map printed under the authority of the Surveyor General of India showing the State boundaries between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh as also between Assam and Nagaland. Print copies of the map have been made available to the Court as also to the learned counsel for other parties. 2. The learned senior counsel for the State of Nagaland seeks time for having instructions in regard to what the State has to contend about this map. 3. In addition, the learned Attorney General states that there are more maps available, but they are meant for restricted use by Defence only. We have asked the learned Attorney General to have instructions whether these maps which are more detailed and pinpoint the boundaries can be made available to the Court and to the Commission which this Court proposes to appoint.
