ORDER 1. Leave granted. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 3. The appellant herein was convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and he was sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for six months. The appellant now submits that he has settled the matter with the respondent and paid the entire amount due to him. The respondent has also filed an affidavit in support of the compromise. In view of the circumstances, the offence is compounded and the appellant is acquitted of all the charges framed against him. 4. The appeal is disposed of.
