1. Considering the prayers made in the present writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of at this stage. It appears that this is the second time the petitioners approach this court for a direction to the respondents to consider their cases for regularization or regular appointment to the posts of A.I. (Assistant Inspector) of Schools. The facts, said in short, are that the petitioner No. l, Shri S.L. Mangkhopao, was appointed by way of up gradation to the post of Graduate Teacher retrospectively w.e.f. 13.12.1987 along with other teachers under order No. 46/2/87-ED(Jr) dated 21st February, 1990. In that order dated 21.2.1990, the name of the petitioner no. 1 appears at s1.no.53. In the case of the petitioner No. 2, Shri Sothang Lunkim, he was appointed as Graduate Teacher on the recommendation of Special Class-III DPC along with others vide order No. 5/3/87-ED(S)(C) dated 24th June, 1991. 2. The further case of the petitioners is that in 2. pursuance of the said appointment orders, they were continuing to serve as Graduate Teachers till they were appointed on ad hoc basis/look after basis to the post of A.Is. of Schools under the orders of the Govt. of Manipur dated 12.11.1991 and 9.2.1996 respectively. In pursuance of the said orders of the Govt. of Manipur dated 12.11.1991 and 9.2.1996 they are still continuing to work as A.Is. of School. 3. Under the orders of the Governor of Manipur being No. 12(D)/33/2K-SE(S) dated 27th April, 2001, the petitioners are allowed to enjoy the scale of pay of A.I. w.e.f.9.2.1996. 4. It is also stated that the petitioners and others had filed a joint writ petition being W.P(C) No. 519 of 2003 before this court for a direction to the state respondents to consider their cases for regular appointment/ regularization of their ad hoc services as A.Is. of Schools; and this court passed order dated 2.5.2003 in W.P(C) No. 519 of 2003 directing that the cases of the petitioners be considered by the authority concerned as per the recruitment rules governing their services for regular appointment as A.I. along with other eligible persons who are similarly situated subject to the eligibility and suitability of the petitioners and availability of vacancy and also that the procedures should be completed within a period of 3 (three ) months from the date a copy of the order is served on the Commissioner/Secretary Education(S), Govt. of Manipur.

In the present case, the petitioners are only asking for a direction to the respondents to complete the process for compliance with the direction of this court made in the judgment and order dated 2.5.2003 passed in W.P(C) No. 519 0f 2003. 5. On consideration of the submissions made by the parties as well as on perusal of the records more particularly the judgment and order of this court dated 2.5.2003 passed in W.P(C) No. 519 of 2003, this court is of the considered view that this writ petition could be disposed of with a simple direction to the respondents. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to complete the process for compliance with the direction of this court made in the judgment and order dated 2.5.2003 passed in W.P(C) No. 519 of 2003 within a period of 4(four) months from the date of receipt of this judgment and order. 6. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
