Judgment R.P. Vyas, J.-The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction against the respondents to grant revised pay scale since 1981 onwards and annual grade increments to the petitioner. It has also been prayed that the respondents be directed to grant benefit of 2nd and 3rd selection grade to the petitioner on completion of 18 and 27 years of service with interest @18% per annum on the delayed payment. 2. Brief facts of the case are that the petitioner was initially appointed on the post of Forester on 19.6.1971. Later on, the petitioner was promoted on the post of Deputy Forester vide order dated 29.5.1980. The said post was subsequently re-designated as Foresh Ranger Grade II. 3. Further case of the petitioner is that the petitioners salary was revised to Rs. 500-860 w.e.f. 28.1.1983 vide order dated 2.1999. However, the said order has not been given effect to till date. 4. Further case of the petitioner is that he submitted a number of representations for grant of selection grade, revised pay scale, annual grade increments, but to no avail and the grievance of the petitioner has not been redressed so far and the matter is pending since 1980. 5. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner at admission stage. 6. During the course of argument, it has been requested by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the respondents be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner. 7. Since the representation of the petitioner has not been decided so far for grant of revised pay scale, selection grade and annual grade increments, in the interest of justice, I deem it just and proper to dispose of the instant petition at this stage by giving a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of revised pay scale, selection grade and annual grade increments. 8. Thus, this writ petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of in the manner that the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner already filed in accordance with law and in case the petitioner wants to file a fresh representation, he can file the same within a period of 15 days from today and the respondents/competent authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of receipt of the representation. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any relief in accordance with law, then the same may be given to the petitioner and if the petitioner is not found entitled to the relief sought for, then a reasoned and speaking order, strictly in accordance with the rules, be passed, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.
