ORDER : K.G. Balakrishnan, J. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner is the wife of respondent. She alleges that she is residing with her parents and she had a small child to look after and it is difficult to go to Gurdaspur to defend the case filed by the respondent. The application is opposed by the respondent. 3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, we feel that the petitioner would face difficulty to defend her case in Gurdaspur (Punjab). We transfer the Divorce Petition No.HMA 58 OF 2004 titled as Akash Katoch v. Smt. Paushi pending before the Additional District Judge, Gurdaspur (Punjab) to District Court Kangra at Dharamshala. The District Judge would be at liberty to transfer the case to the Family Court or any other court having jurisdiction to dispose of the matter. 4. The transfer petition is allowed.
