Judgment :- By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2. Petitioner seeks for a writ of mandamus directing the Commissioner of Police, Egmore, Chennai-8 to produce before the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge for trial of Bomb Blasts Cases, Chennai at Poonamalee the report dated 18.12.2003 for further investigation in No.1384/JCS/CAMP/03/ 88/ACM/COP/03 in Crime No.1139/2001, E-1 Mylapore Police Station, Chennai-4, conducted by the 5th respondent herein on the petitioner's representation dated 28.7.2003 to the Home Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, the first respondent herein, dated 28.7.2003 to the Commissioner of Police, Egmore, Chennai-8, the 2nd respondent herein dated 5.8.2003, to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Adyar Range (now at Mylapore), the 3rd respondent herein dated 12.8.2003, to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mylapore, the 4th respondent herein together with all the relative documents, as per the list annexed. 3. Heard Mr.A. Raghunathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr.E.Sampathkumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 4. Concededly, a criminal case is pending against the petitioner in S.C.No.7 of 2004 on the file of the Additional Sessions Court for exclusive trial of Bomb Blasts Cases, Chennai at Poonamalee. If that be so, it would not be proper for this Court to tinker with such criminal proceedings, exercising power under Section 226 of Constitution of India. The petitioner has got an effective remedy under the Code of Criminal Procedure, if he has any grievance. 5. In the above view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected WPMP No.654 of 2005 is also dismissed.
