Judgment 1. Heard. OFFENCE alleged is under section 309 IPC. The petitioner is accused of having attempted to commit suicide. He was on bail, but bail has been cancelled for his non-appearance on a date. The Court of Session directed bail to be granted on his appearing before the trial court. 2. Without expressing any opinion on merits, a direction is issued that the petitioner be granted bail on appearing before the trial court within one week from today. Having regard to the nature of the case, the trial court will expedite the trial and conclude the same as far as possible within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petition is disposed of.
