On October 7, 2003, following order was passed by this court: "counsel for the State says that Sec.307 IPC has since been deleted and only offence remains under Sec.498-A ipc. The petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. None appears for the petitioners. Adjourned sine die. " 2. On a note put up by the Registry, this petition has been put up for hearing today after notice to the counsel for the petitioners. None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners to assist this Court. It appears that in the meantime, petitioners have lost interest in this litigation. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
