Judgment ADARSH KUMAR GOEL and j. JJ. 1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner-workman against denial of back wages in the impugned award while reinstating him in service. Case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a daily wager with Punjab Agricultural University and his services were terminated without complying with Sec.25-F of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 . 2. He raised an Industrial Dispute. The Labour Court held that the workman was hale and hearty and had not taken any steps to seek employment nor even got himself registered with Employment Exchange. In our judgment rendered today in CWP No.4980 of 2005 -+ (Rajinder Singh V/s. Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, gurgaon and others), we have discussed the recent developments in law with regard to back wages. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, we do not find any ground to interfere with the view taken by the Labour Court, in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution. The petition is dismissed.
