Judgment M. M. KUMAR, J. 1. In the connected matter disposed of today, namely, c. W. P. No.798 of 2006, we have noticed that the representation of the petitioner as well as show cause notice issued by the respondents to the petitioner for changing his date of promotion as Sub Inspector and Inspector are pending consideration of the respondents. 2. Mr. Malik, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition at this stage with liberty to file a fresh one, if such a necessity arises. 3. Ordered accordingly.
