Learned counsel has submitted that against the order of dismissal dated 26.4.2005 (Annexure P-5), the petitioner has already filed an appeal on 1.6.2005 (Annexure P-6) and the same is pending consideration before respondent No.1, which was sent through proper channel. 2. He has confined his prayer for the issuance of a direction to respondent No.1 to take cognizance of his appeal and decide the same within a specified period. 3. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the view that it will be just and proper to direct respondent No.1 to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner (Annexure P-6) expeditiously, preferably within six months from today. 4. Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
