Judgment :- (Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order in G.O.No.S.R.1/528-26/2004 dated 24.05.2004 passed by the first respondent herein and order executed on 15.10.2005, quash the same, direct the respondent to produce the body of the person of the detenu namely S. Arunkumar @ Aslin son of Selvaraj, before this Court, now detained under Sec.3(1)(ii) of the COFEPOSA Act in the Central Prison, Madurai, and set him at liberty.) P. Sathasivam, J. Learned Government Advocate informs this Court that, by Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.1206, Public (Law & Order.F) Department, dated 19.12.2005, the detention order passed against S. Arunkumar @ Aslin, the petitioner herein, has been revoked. He has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Accordingly, no adjudication is required in this matter. Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
