Judgment Viney Mittal and j. JJ. 1. Notice of motion to the respondents. On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The grievance made by the petitioner contractor is that although a running payment, as claimed by the petitioner in the present petition, is payable to the petitioner contractor forthwith but the said payment is not being released. 2. From the perusal of the record, we find that the petitioner has already issued a demand notice (Annexure P.3) dated may 30,2006 but the same remains unresponded. In these circumstances, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Executive Engineer Provincial division, PWD (Bandr), Amritsar, respondent No.4 to take a final decision on the aforesaid demand notice (Annexure P.3) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order. A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
