Judgment 1. Prayer in this petition is, for grant of anticipatory bail in case fir No.14 dated 5.2.2006, registered under Sec.406 of the Indian Penal code at Police Station Kotwali,nabha, Distt. Patiala. On 6.4.2006, counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner shall bring a demand draft of Rs.27,000/- in the name of millennium Automobile, Rajpura Road, Patiala, on the next date of hearing. It is now contended that as there were other proceedings pending between the petitioner and the complainant, all outstanding matters have been settled upon payment of Rs.2,85,000/-, by the petitioner to the complainant. The correctness of the aforementioned statement is not denied by counsel for the State of Punjab, on instructions from ASI, Darshan singh, Police Station Kotwali, Nabha, Distt. Patiala. In view of the aforementioned facts, the order of this Court dated 6.4.2006 is made absolute, subject to the provisions of Sec.438 of the Cr. P. C. This petition stands disposed of accordingly.
