Judgment :- (Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records culminating in the passing of the order of detention against the petitioner under Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order B.D.F.G.I.S.S.V.No. 51/2006, dated 22.8.2006 on the file of the second respondent herein, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the body and person, by name, Pattabi, S/o.Kali, from Central Prison, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.) P.K. Misra, J. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has brought to our notice that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.2068, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department, dated 16.10.2006 and he has also produced a copy of the same. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. The Habeas Corpus Petition is, therefore, dismissed as having become infructuous.
