Judgment 1. This is an application for condonation of delay of six days in filing the appeal. This application is accompanied by an affidavit. In view of the reasons given in this application, it is allowed. Delay stands condoned. 2. This appeal has been filed against order vide which compensation has been awarded to the respondents by the Commissioner under Workmens Compensation Act, 1923. So far as, quantum of compensation is concerned, counsel for the appellant has failed to assail the same. Otherwise also, this Court feels that compensation awarded is perfectly justified and is rather on the lower side. 3. Primary grievance of the appellant is that it has wrongly been burdened with liability to pay interest. At the time of arguments, counsel for the appellant has failed to show that there was any clause in the policy with regards to non payment of interest. 4. In view of the ratio of the judgment of the Supreme Court in ved Prakash Garg Vs. Premi Devi and others, (1997) 8 SCC 1 and single Bench judgment of this Court in F. A. O. No.326 of 2006 titled as united India Insurance Company Limited Vs. Smt. Shakuntla Devi and others decided on 20.1.2006, no case is made out for interference. Dismissed.
