Heard Mr.Roshni Piba, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr.A.Jagatchandra, learned senior Government Advocate appearing for all the respondents. [2] The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners' case is squarely covered by the judgment and order of this court dated 6.3.2006 passed in WP© No.973 of 2005 and WP© No.1128 of 2005 filed by the Coach and Youth Officers respectively. In the said writ petition © Nos.973/05 and 1128/05, the prayer sought for by the petitioners are that their cases may be considered by the respondents for promotion to the posts of District Youth Officers according to the relevant Recruitment Rules. Similar prayer is made in the present writ petition. [3] Considering the submission of learned counsel of both the parties as well as perusal of the case of the petitioners in the present writ petition and the documents annexed thereto and supported by an affidavit and also the earlier judgment and order of this court dated 6.3.2006 passed in WP© Nos.973/05 and 1128/05, this court has no hesitation to come to the conclusion that this case can be disposed of by giving direction similar with the one given by this court in the earlier judgment and order of this court dated 6.3.2006. [4] Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the State respondents to consider the case of the petitioners along with other eligible candidates for appointment by promotion to the post of District Youth Officers and Sport Officers in the Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur, if the petitioners are found eligible, as and when government fill up the said posts of District Youth Officer and Sport Officers.
