Judgment 1. Petitioner Harjit Singh, apprehending his arrest in a nonbailable offence in case FIR No.231 dated 23.8.2006 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.5, ludhiana, has filed this petition under Sec.438 of the Code of Criminal procedure for the grant of anticipatory bail. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition. Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
