Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been acquitted by the criminal Court and even the departmental proceedings initiated against him have been dropped and, therefore, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
