R.K.MERATHIA

body2006
Order Heard the parties. 2. Petitioner prays for a declaration that certain questions of Law, Part I and Part II are out of syllabus of J.P.S.C. 1st Combined Civil Services Mains Examination, 2003 held on 25.6.2005 and, therefore, the respondents be directed to hold re-examination in respect of the said optional papers of Law (Papers I and II). 3. In my opinion, the syllabus is a broad outline; a brief indication; an abstract; of the subjects. Moreover, the petitioner/examinee had option/choice to select the questions for answers. 4. Further, Mr. Mehta, learned counsel for the petitioner could not satisfy this Court that the questions were out of syllabus. 5. There is no merit in this writ petition, which is accordingly, dismissed.
