Judgment 1. Petitioner Kulwant Singh apprehending his arrest in a nonbailable offence in case FIR No.199 dated 23.6.2006 registered under sections 406/420/467/468/120-B IPC at Police Station Jagraon, District ludhiana, has filed this petition under Sec.438 Cr. P. C. for grant of anticipatory bail. I have heard the counsel for the parties. During the investigation, it has been revealed that petitioner kulwant Singh is the person who forged the subsequent agreement and also retained Rs.15 lacs out of Rs.50 lacs, which were paid on the basis of the agreement of sale. Keeping in view the nature of allegations and the material collected during the investigation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Dismissed.
