ORDER : Y.K. Sabharwal, CJI. Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 8th March, 2006, the concerned officers are present and the Report has been submitted. It is stated that notification under Section 11 of the National Highway Authority of India Act, 1988, has been issued and the land mentioned therein had been entrusted to the National Highway Authority of India. It is further now stated that acquisition of land will be completed in the Western Peripheral by the end of April, 2006 and in the Eastern Peripheral by the end of September, 2006. The State Governments are directed to fully cooperate in the matter of construction of the highway. In this regard, we clarify that the pace for the construction of the highway shall not be hampered on account of differences, if any, on cost sharing which should be tried to be resolved between the parties. Further status report be filed within eight weeks. The F.D.Rs., mentioned in the office report, shall be renewed for a period of another one year. List the matters in July, 2006.
