It is represented by the learned Government Advocate that the detenu by name V. Karthikeyan, son of R. Venkatesan was arrested by R.5 Virugambajkkam Police in Crime No.71 of 2006 on 19.02.2006 and produced before the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and now he is in judicial custody. In view of the above statement, this petition becomes infructuous and the same is dismissed.
