Judgment 1. Heard. OFFENCE alleged is under sections 498-A/406 IPC. 2. Case of the prosecution is that Simarjit Kaur was married to the petitioner about three years back, but he started harassing and beating her for dowry and finally turned her out of the matrimonial home with a view to perform another marriage. 3. Counsel for the complainant says that first wife of the petitioner committed suicide and this was second marriage. It is further pointed out by counsel for the complainant that the petitioner filed a petition under section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act to create a ground for divorce. 4. Without expressing any final opinion on merits, no case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail. The petition is dismissed.
