Judgment :- (Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records connected with the order in C.No.2/PBMMSEC/Act/2006(M3) dated 13.01.2006 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and produce the detenu Rangasamy, S/o. Oppanna Gounder, now detained in Central Prison, Coimbatore under the provisions of Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act 1980 (Act 7/80) before this Court and set at liberty.) P. Sathasivam, J. Learned Government Advocate informs this Court that, by Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.23, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department dated 16.02.2006, the detention order passed against the detenu by name Rangasamy has been revoked. He has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Accordingly, no adjudication is required in this matter. Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
