Judgment 1. Heard. FIR was lodged by one Gora Singh, alleging that when he was on guard duty at the Octroi post, a car hit a pillar and turtled down and poppy Husk could be seen from the car. On investigation, it was found that satnam Singh had died in the accident in the car and on further enquiry from the father of the deceased, Hira Singh, it was learnt that the petitioner had gone with Satnam Singh on that day. The investigating agency claims to have connected the petitioner to the recovery of 2 quintals 5 kilograms of poppy Husk. 2. Anticipatory bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected. Thereafter, the petitioner surrendered to custody. Case is fixed for evidence in May 2006. Without expressing any opinion on merits, no ground is made out for grant of bail at this stage. The petition is dismissed. However, the trial will be expedited.
